Success stories

The Autism Project prides itself on working with students of all levels on the autism spectrum. Many of those students come to us after many years of struggling and as a result become quite frustrated especially socially. At TAP, we challenge our students, teach them to trust us and as a result we have the privilege of seeing some pretty amazing transformations occur.

We have seen students go from aggressive and destructive to calm and cooperative. We have seen students uninterested in being with a group of their peers become leaders of their groups. We have seen students filled with fears and phobias become students interested in trying new things. To highlight some of the successes we have seen we have asked parents to include some of their stories.

"I know it isn't always easy but I wanted to tell you that you do amazing things for the kids and adults you currently and previously worked with. I don't know who I'd be today if not for you, but I can tell you it wouldn't be 'me' if that makes sense. Thanks for everything you've done for me Angel. You certainly live up to your name for all of us."
